Tui Na Therapy (twee na)
A 2,000 year old Chinese therapeutic form of external massage that moves Qi and stagnant energy within the body's meridians. The purpose of Tui Na is to focus on the specific problem area, remove the blockages and keep the energy moving through the meridians and muscles.
Muscles and tendons are massaged incorporating various hand and rhythmic compression techniques along the energy channels. This therapy, in combination with Acupuncture and other manipulations, is used to enhance the body's healing process that affect Qi flow.
